Welcome to Memetic Warfare. This week we’ll share a quick look at a few recent-ish looks at Russian activity that I thought were noteworthy.
The first that I want to share is from the Gnida project, which consistently puts out some of the best research on Russia. Some recent research of theirs showed how Israel’s back on their targeting list:
Staying on Israel for a minute, HaShomrim, an Israeli investigative news outlet, published in conjunction with the OCCRP a look at a number of Russian physical influence operations against Israeli and Jewish targets in Europe, check it out here.

The article is fascinating and worth reading, giving rare insight into the operational planning of these types of operations. See an example which involved placing pig heads in front of mosques:
